“I loved attending Tegan’s session. It was informative and gave me the confidence to return back to the gym after my baby.”
Kind Words
“I was nervous about returning to exercise after having more than 12 months break and even more so following an unplanned c-section but when I saw PPN Active advertised I knew this was the first step to getting back into it for me. I only attended a few classes but it was a perfect reintroduction to fitness and enough to get me feeling back in tune with my body and trigger muscle memory. I loved that the sessions started off basic, nothing too much that’d scare me away and that each session introduced new movements so I felt like I was challenging myself at a steady safe pace. My new learnings were understanding the importance of breathing through exercise correctly since the physical changes pregnancy/giving birth have on your body and I liked how that was explained to the class. For me returning to the gym amongst everyone seemed a bit daunting knowing my fitness levels have dropped so being in a room full of other mums felt safe. If I hadn’t already re-signed to the previous gym I had been going to I’d still be attending. PPN Active for me was the first step I needed to take to get my confidence back up to return to HIIT class training. I may be moving slower than others in my current gym class however I am consciously checking my breathing and listening to my body, and I have PPN Active to thank for bringing that awareness to me”
“It was great! Especially enjoying the classes now weights have been introduced. Also liking just being taught the basics in technique and engaging all the right muscles so the return to normal fitness is more successful without injury.”

No, you can do as many or as few sessions as you like. We understand that life with a newborn can be a little unpredictable. Ideally it would be beneficial to complete at least 6-8 weeks of a postnatal specific exercise program before returning to your usual mainstream fitness training. This allows your body time to recover and heal from birth and also gives you the time required to progress and gradually increase load and impact as your body can tolerate it. The goal is that when you do return to your preferred style of training that transition is seamless and you have accumulated the knowledge and body awareness to continue to progress safely.
